Weapon Target Assignment Decision Based on Markov Decision Process in Air Defense

摘要
This paper proposed a MDP based approach to resolve the weapon target assignment (WTA) problem in air defense domain. Considering the dynamic and stochastic nature of this problem, WTA is firstly decomposed into several sub-problems, the optimal strategy of which is easily to compute since the state space is very small. The strategies of sub-problems are combined to form global assignment strategy, in that a Minimum Marginal algorithm is employed for conflicts resolution. By this way, an approximate optimal WTA policy is obtained with reduction of computation complex.
