摘要：

The death of ayoung woman who until then had never suffered from any severe illnesses is presented. The cause of death was an unknown intracranial lipoma (ICL), which led to an obstructive hydrocephalus and subsequently to acentral nervous system failure. Intracranial lipomas are rare congenital space-occupying lesions that are usually benign and remain lifelong asymptomatic.
