The perceptions of adolescents towards their childhood family life experiences with regard to their having substance use disorder or not

摘要
Objective: The aim of this study is to investigate the childhood family experience of adolescents with and without substance use disorder. Methods: Nineteen adolescents with substance use disorders and 18 adolescents without substance use disorders participated in this study. Participants completed Childhood Family Life Inventory. t-test and logical regression analyzes were used data regarding sample. Results: Results indicated that differences between adolescents' with and without substance use disorders with regard to perception about conflict level between parents and themselves, parents attitudes towards themselves, parents happiness level in their marital relations, and parents conflict level in their marital relations. Moreover, the results of this study have established that parent's attitudes toward children ages between 0-7 and 8-11, parent's conflict level in their marital relations ages between 0-7 and 8-11, and parent's happiness level in their marital relations ages between 8 and 11 as the factors which determine substance use disorder. Conclusion: These results showed that parent attitudes and parent marital relations in childhood period are important in child development.
