摘要
In this paper, application of DWC with side rectifier (DWC-SR) to nitrobenzene distillation was studied. Simulation using Aspen plus software was done to compare the traditional two tower process with new process based on DWC-SR. The results show that, the two processes has almost no difference on the energy cost, which is also decided by the characteristic of DWC-SR, but large saving of capital investment and space can be obtained. In addition, only a reboiler is need in DWC-SR process, residence time of nitrobenzene, dinitrobenzene, etc inside high temperature region can be reduced, so can to avoid the frequently occurring explosion accident to a great extent.
