New classes of probability inequalities for some classical distributions

摘要：
In this paper we review the development of new classes of probability inequalities for some classical distributions. These results are derived through generalizations of the classical theory of total positivity, the theory of group characters for the symmetric group, and results on finite reflection groups. Our results include new probability inequalities for some bivariate normal probability distributions.
