摘要
Being the second phase in the (Mg0.95M0.052+)Ti2O5 (M2+=Co, Ni, and Zn) ceramics, the sintering behavior and microwave dielectric properties of specimens using (Mg0.95M0.052+)Ti2O5 were investigated. (Mg0.95M0.052+)Ti2O5 solid solutions were detected throughout the entire experiment. Lattice parameters were also measured for specimens with different M2+ to confirm the formation of solid solutions. The sintering temperature of (Mg0.95Co0.05)Ti2O5 was 25 degrees C lower than those of the others. The (Mg0.95M0.052+)Ti2O5 ceramics, in this study, acquired the following microwave dielectric properties: epsilon(r) of 16-18.5, Q x f of 28 000-68 000 GHz, and tau(f) of -38 similar to-47 ppm/degrees C. Compatible epsilon(r) and tau(f) values were obtained in comparison with that of (Mg0.95M0.052+)TiO3 ceramics. However, it showed a much lower Q x f, indicating that the formation of (Mg0.95M0.052+)Ti2O5 in the (Mg0.95M0.052+)TiO3 ceramics would cause a drastic reduction in the Q x f value.
