摘要：
This paper explores the history of occupational safety and health in Japan during the 20th century, and then provides an overview of trends in this particular field since the 1970s. In addition, current and future issues in regard to occupational safety and health during the 21st century are examined. (C) 2012 Published by Elsevier Ltd.
