摘要
The aim of this paper is to highlight the impact of wastewater treatment plants on the environment through LCA analyzes. An important part is implementation of the general standard EN ISO 14040 for a specific wastewater treatment plant. Emphasis is placed on proper grasp of the issue regarding the definition of objectives, functional unit, system boundaries and evaluation indicators. Based on the determined limitations are evaluated strengths and weaknesses of the wastewater treatment process. Through experimental measurements under different operating conditions WWTP are obtained data processed using the appropriate LCA software. The result of the evaluation is to assess and optimize the process of wastewater treatment plant.
