摘要
Multi-carrier faster-than-Nyquist (MFTN) can improve the spectrum efficiency (SE). The efficient digital implementation for time-frequency packing (TFP) MFTN based on filter bank multicarrier modulation is investigated in this paper. The Monte-Carlo simulations were carried out to verify the performance gain of TFP-MFTN. Simulation results verify that the TFP-MFTN has a 0.8dB and 0.9dB gain compared with time packing MFTN (TP-MFTN) and higher order Nyquist at same SE, respectively. This demonstrates that TFP-MFTN is a more efficient mechanism to improve performance than TP-MFTN.
