REFLECTIONS ABOUT TRANSITIONAL JUSTICE FROM THE TRANSVERSALITY OF SUMAK KAWSAY AS A RECONCILIATION MECHANISM IN THE COLOMBIAN STATE

This document will address the Andean philosophy of sumak kawsay based on its meaning, origin, cultural reference and its relationship with institutional development, to establish its possible application to the postulates immersed in Colombian Transitional Justice. The diversity and multiparity of cultures that reside in the country and the protection of rights of ethnic and indigenous groups elevated to constitutional status in the state emerge as a reparatory and vindictive measure using traditional wisdom as a sample of appreciation and respect for ancestral knowledge, seeking to repair the social fabric between victims and ex-combatants, in order to rebuild communities and territories from forgiveness, justice and historical memory.
