摘要
Low Nd-doped 0.3 at% Nd:GdVO4 crystal with excellent crystal quality was grown by the Czochralski method. The maximum CW output power of 8.23 W was obtained when the 0.3 at% Nd:GdVO4 crystal was pumped by a laser diode with power 27.9 W, giving the corresponding optical conversion efficiency of 29.5% and the average slope efficiency of 30.2%. The fracture-limited pump powers of different Nd-doped crystals were estimated. (C) 2004 Elsevier B.V. All rights reserved.
