摘要
Fabrics made of natural and man-made fibers are nowadays commonly applied in textiles. It is already apparent that the type of raw material and fabric structure influences the properties of the finished goods. The objective of this paper is to report a study on the thermal properties of different fabrics using TCI system. A comparison was made with eight different plain knitted fabrics from different materials varying from natural and man made fibers. Nine different climatic conditions were achieved and the thermal resistance of these fabrics was monitored. The results are presented graphically and discussed and the influence of the type of the garment on thermal properties was observed for all fabrics made of natural and man made fibers.
