摘要
In this paper, a secured backscatter communication between two smart cars in a Vehicular Ad-hoc Network (VANETs), powered by the energy harvested from the ambient RF signals is proposed. Backscatter communication is the method of reflecting the existing (ambient) signal to the receiver instead of transmitting a generated signal. This is to be achieved between two SMART cars i.e., cars that use sensors to provide comfort and ease of driving for the users. The communication is to be achieved when the cars are in a Vehicular Ad-hoc network i.e., a network that is formed between cars on the spot for exchange of information. The controllers and sensors used in this process are to be powered by RF energy harvesting from ambient RF signals. Ambient RF refers to the RF signals that are present in the environment around us, for example RF signals from mobile towers and TV towers.
