摘要：

Injection of a suspension of cultured olfactory ensheathing cells into a unilateral lesion of the upper cervical corticospinal tract in adult rats induces regeneration of cut axons across the lesion and into the distal tract. Whether transplanted at the time of injury or 5 weeks later, the animals recover the ability to acquire a skilled directed paw reaching task on the operated side.
