摘要
We have studied magnetic relaxation in a Ga0.97Mn0.03As thin film using ferromagnetic resonance (FMR) at two different microwave frequencies (9.47 and 34GHz). The intrinsic FMR line width described by the Gilbert damping parameter a, being the resistance against the inertia motion, and the inhomogeneous broadening Delta H-pp(0) due to the variation of the magnetic properties in the sample were evaluated by the frequency dependence of the FMR line width Delta H-pp(omega). It was found that the inhomogeneous broadening is significant at 10 K and tends to decrease as temperature increases. On the other hand, a (0.02-0.04 at 10 K) was found to increase with temperature.
