摘要
In this paper, the effect of rotation on the free vibrations for elastodynamic equations of orthotropic hollow sphere is investigated. The propagation of free vibrations is discussed on the basis of the linear theory of elasticity. The determination is concerned with the eigenvalues of the natural frequency for different boundary conditions. The numerical results of the frequency equations are discussed. Comparisons are made with the result in the present and absence of rotation in case of hollow sphere and hollow cylinder. The results indicate that the effect rotation in orthotropic hollow sphere is very pronounced.
