摘要
Polymer blending allows engineers to develop new materials with a specific balance of processability and properties. With the advent of polyolefins produced via metallocene catalyzed polymerization, such as Dow's Engage(TM) polyolefin elastomers based on Insite(TM) technology, blending of these new polymers is of interest for a range of new application areas. In this paper, structure and property relationships are described for blends of an Engage(TM) elastomers with styrene block copolymers. Solid state and melt dynamic mechanical spectroscopy, microscopy and weatherability are some of the methods used to describe the morphological structure and properties of the blends.
