On implementing information system and databases interoperability with XML

摘要
An enterprise information system is generally composed of various and may be heterogeneous and distributed subsystems. This is a result of successive evolutions induced by new business needs or technological mutations. The evolution is a critical task that may disturb the operational system, however without it the system may quickly become obsolete. In this paper, we deal with the information system modernisation and more precisely with the improvement of subsystems co-operation and databases interoperability using XML. For this, we use a platform that we define to deal with the evolution heterogeneous software components. This platform allows both white box or black box modernisation approaches. The core of the paper is the implementation of a database restructuring approach for XML based subsystems interoperability.
