Opportunities and Challenges Faced by Marxist Theory Education in Colleges and Universities

Nowadays, there has been significant changes on people's values, habits, behavior and so on in the historical period of social transformation of China, which also leads that the Marxist theory education in colleges and universities is faced with opportunities and challenges. Therefore, this paper expounds the opportunities and challenges faced by Marxist theory education in colleges and universities, as well as the strategies to deal with the opportunities and challenges. Marxist theory education is that Marxism political party preserves and spreads proletarian ideology, and strives their own interests the proletarian theory and ideological education of the masses of the people in scientific cognition of the world and changing the world. Marxist theory is the basis of the evaluation of lag ideas and institutional systems, the means to strengthen the superstructure and the economic base of socialism, and also the key to improve the people's ideological concept and scientific thinking ability. Therefore, based on the influence of Marxist theory, it is needed to understand the opportunities and challenges of Marxist theory of education in colleges and universities.
