摘要
Scanned light display technology is enabling advances in a number of areas of 3D display development. We discuss various scanned light display technologies developed in our laboratory: 1) Our 3D volumetric displays triaxially scan light beams to render a volume, placing different pixels at different optical viewing distances to enable accurate accommodation and vergence cues. 2) Our 1 mm x 9 mm microdisplay uses a vibrating singlemode optical fiber to produce images, and enables multi-projector multi-view autostereoscopic displays as well as compact 3D head mounted displays with the potential form factor of a pair of eyeglasses.
