摘要：

Specialized English is a course that gaining specialized information by reading Specialized English documents. With the development of auto industry, more emphasis should be put on automotive specialized English teaching. This paper investigated the current status for this course. Incorporating current Sino-US cooperation, reform strategy was proposed to improve the development of both this course and students ability. Strategy showed that Sino-US cooperation can provide experienced professor, good textbook and practical activities to the course teaching and student ability improvement.
