摘要：
We study the drug order and delivery process for patients receiving municipal home care services in Norway. Using interpretative qualitative methods we document an extensive but "invisible" manual and distributed quality assurance among the involved health care providers. We call for selective automation of medication use processes in this setting as these distributed, highly manual micro-practices are vital to quality assurance in practice.
