Hubei Province is located in the central of China. With a long history of farming, Hubei Province is a big province of grain production and grain consumption. As one of the main 13 grain-producing provinces of the country, Hubei Province made great contributions to national food security in the past. However, in recent years, with the development of urbanization and industrialization, Hubei Province has become one of the few food-deficit province in the main grain-producing provinces. grain production of Hubei Province faces new challenges.
