Test of an ionospheric activity index using foF2 data in China

摘要
An index to describe the storm time ionospheric variation is derived from the historical data in China. This index is tested using data for different seasons and stations of China. The result indicates that this index is suitable for representing the variation of ionospheric activity during storm time in China.
