Phase equilibria in CaO-B2O3-TiO2 system at 1373 K and 1473 K

摘要
Phase equilibria in CaO-B2O3-TiO2 system at 1373 K and 1473 K were investigated using quenching method followed by X-ray diffraction and scanning electron microscopy (SEM) equipped with energy dispersive analysis (EDS). Isothermal sections in CaO-B2O3-TiO2 system at 1373 K and 1473 K were experimentally constructed. No ternary oxide compounds were found in this system. The liquidus composition of CaO-B2O3-TiO2 system at 1373 K and 1473 K were determined. The section at 1373 K contains one liquid region, three solid-liquid coexistence regions and five subsolid regions. The section at 1473 K contains one liquid region, five solid-liquid coexistence regions and three subsolidus regions. (C) 2013 Elsevier B. V. All rights reserved.
