Research of HVDC Converter Firing Control System Modeling based on PSCAD and HiDraw

摘要
According to the hardware configuration used for HVDC control system from ABB, converter firing control (CFC) section is modeled based on PSCAD/EMTDC. All the functional modules of practical system which is controlled by ABB control system are reserved to make the dynamic response characteristics closer to the practical project. Single-phase to ground fault of AC transmission line is applied. The obtained results show that the simulation results can agree well with the practical project, and it can be the accurate model to do further research.
