A framework for evaluating the information security of e-learning systems

摘要：
In this paper we emphasize the problem of information security in e-learning systems based on information and communication technologies (ICT). For coping with this wide area, we introduce a new measure for the computation of a security rating for an e-learning system, such that the security concept of the system can be summarized to this single value. This is possible over a catalogue of criteria that have been assigned values for an estimated security strength. The values of the criteria that can be found in the security concept are used in the measure computation to get the security rating of the system.
