Creation of web-based user interface for supercomputing environment

摘要
The design and realization of a user application platform for a series of high performance computers (HPCs) via Internet (a portal) is presented in the paper The goal of this platform is to achieve transparently accessing to any HPC, which provided in our center via Internet. A cluster was set UP to simulate the environment of supercomputing and acted as the testbed of this application platform, which is divided into 2 modules: user computing service and system administrating service. The idea of accessing heterogeneous HPCs with the same web-based user interface is being implemented Because the final goal is to develop a Computational Grid, the technology of Grid and its middleware, Globus and its Toolkit, are also introduced briefly in the paper The comparison between our portal with others is discussed at the end of this article.
