Urban land regularization as the realization of the right to housing

The objective of the present work is to study the importance of urban land regularization in relation to public urban housing policies and to determine its efficiency regarding the realization of the fundamental right to decent housing, through bibliographic research, with a qualitative approach, using the deductive as the primary method. The present study is justified, since public policies must aim at realizing rights, especially those enshrined in the 1988 Constitution. It was concluded that the right to housing demands more than a physical space, demonstrating that real estate regularity integrates it, making making land regularization an indispensable tool for a sustainable city.
