摘要
In order to improve the active safety of highway passenger vehicle, this paper designs a vision based on-board image monitoring system for passenger vehicle. It has many advantages of high reliability and optimal cost-effective, it also can timely collect digital images of passenger vehicle driving condition, while recognizing the potential danger of moving vehicle, recording and warning the abnormal behavior of road passenger vehicle driver. The highway experiment results show that this system has the advantage of high precision, portable, low rate of false alarm and stable, it has a widespread application prospect.
