摘要
Knowledge and belief are important components of intelligence. To make machines become intelligent we should let them have knowledge and belief. In this paper we stand in the position of the machine system to discuss machine knowledge and machine belief. First, We introduce a formal system for describing machine knowledge and machine belief. Second, We give a formal description for machine understanding knowledge. Then we define machine knowledge and machine belief in. Robots can acquire their knowledge by sensors and knowledge representation mechanism in. And robots' belief come from the communication with other agents. Due to robots can understand their knowledge and belief, they can make decision with their knowledge and belief in reasoning about action. Therefore, the robots in the proposed framework would have much highly autonomy in the real world. In addition, we suggest several inference rules for reasoning about machine knowledge and machine belief.
