摘要
The microstructure and the critical resolved shear stress (CRSS) of Inconel X-750 superalloy after age hardening was studied for a mean radius of precipitates between 2.5 and 80 nm. Transmission electron microscopy and tensile tests revealed that the coarsening of the γ′-precipitates obey the t1/3 law, while the precipitate size distributions are broader than theoretical predictions. The CRSS increment due to γ′-precipitates is in good agreement with the order hardening theories. On the other hand, misfit hardening theories overestimate the γ′-precipitates contribution to the CRSS.
