摘要
We found several splicing variants of the histamine H3 receptor (H3R) mRNA in human and rat. We characterized their profiles in the ligand binding and functional responses. All splicing variants-expressing cells, except one type, bound to [3 H]-N-alpha-methylhistamine (NAMHA) and responded to histamine (HA), inhibiting forskolin-induced cAMP accumulation. Marked differences of binding and functional profiles between the splicing variants were not observed.
