摘要
The Al-Si-Cu base alloy 319 is a well known general purpose alloy that has found many applications in the automotive industry. This paper explores alternative methods of post-solution-treatment quenching and presents the achievable casting characteristics (hardness, tensile properties and dimensional growth) and their relationship with the quench rate.
