Study on the crystal structure of RS-1-(2-methoxyphenyl)-4-[3-(1-naphthyloxy)-2-hydroxypropyl]-piperazine

摘要：
In order to confirm the existence and the position of the hydroxy group in the RS-1-(2-methoxyphenyl)-4-[3-(1-naphthyloxy)-2-hydroxypropyl]-piperazine (C24H28N2O3) molecule, which is found to be a selective antagonist against postsynaptie membrane alpha(1) receptor, its crystal structure has been determined by X-ray diffraction analysis. The crystal belongs to the triclinic system: and the space group is P (1) over bar, with a=7.375(2), b=11.733(2), c=12.402(2) Angstrom, alpha=91.68(2), beta=101.31 (3), gamma=95.40(2)degrees, V=1046.4(4) Angstrom(3), Z=2, D-c=1.246 g/cm(3). Final R-f=0.076.
