摘要
Intellectual capital - IC and knowledge management - KM are themes related the emergence of a new society focused on information and knowledge. The IC is considered a phenomenon that increases organizational performance through the integration of structural capital, human capital and customer capital. The KM consists of a set of actions that seek to coordinate since the processes of generation at the use of knowledge, in addition to its storage and its sharing among individuals. This article aims to propose a conceptual model for managing the IC, integrated with the KM. This is an exploratory study and bibliographic developed from theoretical contributions, among which there are the following authors Davenport and Prusak (1998), Edvinsson and Malone (1998), Stewart (1998, 2002), Sveiby (1998), Terra (2001) and Von Krogh, Ichijo and Nonaka (2001). Intuits that the junction of the IC and KM constructs is presented as a possibility to manage the non-measurable aspects of intellectual capital, complementing the methodologies that seek only to quantify it economically.
