摘要：
Loss of teeth is accompanied by loss of function and resultant reduction of alveolar bone height. Insufficient bone height may jeopardize implant anchorage or surgical procedures like distraction osteogenesis because of possible inferior alveolar nerve damage. This investigation was designed to provide precise information on intramandibular distances in edentulous mandibles.
