New approach to the problems of deformation and recrystallization

摘要：
A new approach to explanation of the origin of band structures is developed. It is suggested that because of a high gradient of stresses and strains in the deformation zone, metal layers, being prevented from flowing, loss stability and acquire a wave form, i.e. undergo corrugation. Corrugating initiates the meso-volume formation in a deformation structure. It was shown that the band structures in the rolled single crystals of stable orientations are formed as well.
