摘要
This paper overviews the situation of biofertilizers use in Sudan and the potentialities for expansion in production and use of these biofertilizers. The paper shows the system and level of production and use of Rhizobium inoculants for improving production of leguminous crops in Sudan and the economic value of these inoculants. It also shows data on production and application of mycorrhiza, phosphorus solubilizing bacteria, free-living nitrogen fixers, effective microorganisms and silicate bacteria. Levels of production and potential production of manure and composted organic fertilizers and problems encountered in production and application are also shown. Data are presented to show the situation of different organic fertilizers production and application in Sudan.
