摘要
In this paper, a modified hexagonal patch antenna is designed, simulated and fabricated for better gain and return loss improvement. The modified hexagonal patch antenna is proposed by adding hexagonal slot, L-cut and coplanar waveguide techniques. Measurement process is done for the designed antenna. From the measurement results, it shows that the resonant frequency has been shifted compared with the simulation results. However, the return loss of the designed antenna has been improved. It shows that the antenna achieves dual-band frequency at 5.2 GHz and 6.67 GHz with return loss performance of -16.467 dB and -22.645 dB, with gain of 6.451 dB and 5.736 dB, respectively.
