摘要
The supply chain security was thought as a critical issue for international supply chain management following the quality management. However, the supply chain security presently still focuses on a set of individual measures rather than on a holistic approach. Therefore, an integrated framework must be established as a reference model in order to promote security capability effectively and systematically. This research would first make a comprehensive literature review including both major international security regulations proposed by different organizations and academic literatures relevant to supply chain security capability. Secondly, different organizations from a supply chain are chosen for interviews to identify critical alternatives related to security capability. Thirdly, we summarize these findings and present the framework of Security Capability Development (SCD). The Analytic Hierarchy Process method (AHP) is adopted to represent the hierarchical structure of SCD and the weights for dimensions, criteria, and alternatives are calculated. This paper presents a complete and integrated framework for developing security capability, and it would provide a solid support for industry management and academic research in the new era of security management.
