ANALYSIS OF TURBULENT WIND CHARACTERISTICS IN COMPLEX TERRAIN USING FIELD MEASUREMENTS

摘要
Field measured wind data by a monitoring system of wind turbulence parameters in an urban area over one year period is analyzed in the paper to learn the turbulent wind charactersitcs in complex terrain. Important turbulent wind characteristics, including the variation range of wind parameters, turbulence intensity, wind spectra and integral length scale and coherence functions, is calculated for open-sea fetch and overland fetch for one hour averaging period. Statistical results of all the wind characteristics are summarized. These results are helpful to enlarge our knowledge of trubulent wind characteristics in complex terrain and can be used as reference database for further design of infrastructures in similar urban area.
