TRAINING OF FORWARD AIR CONTROLLERS IN THE ARMY OF THE CZECH REPUBLIC

The contribution concentrates on Forward Air Control training in the environment of the Army of the Czech Republic with the emphasis on the FAC's duties, safety of own forces and safety of the pilot and the airplane. The progress and brief conclusion of the Flying Rhino international exercise, which was aimed primarily at the FA C training, are mentioned. The further part characterises chosen airplanes, which are suitable for close air support, along with possible payload variants of these airplanes, including FBC category (i.e. Fighter Bomber Attack Day/Night). The conclusion expresses the percentage amount of targets, which will be engaged by air force (remaining targets will be taken care of by ground forces).
