Study on the Ecology Effectiveness of Community Leisure Sports Based on Data Envelopment Analysis

Due to the rapid growth of the domestic economy, the lifestyle of Chinese people has changed, and the sedentary life has gradually become a trend. In the meantime, with the improvement of the life quality, people have paid more and more attention to health issues. Therefore, the willingness and demand for leisure have also increased a lot. In order to comply with this trend, the government advocates the concept of a healthy city. That is to promote the community's active participation and the combination of community resources, the combination of leisure and life, together with the strength of different professions in the community to create a better life. The ultimate goal is to achieve a healthy life and work together to create a healthy community and promote national health. This paper selects Shanghai as the research object and adopts Delphi Method as well as Data Envelopment Analysis to carry out an empirical study on the performance of input and output of Community Leisure Sports based on the public data disclosed in the annual report of each region, and thus take this as a reference for improvement. This paper concludes 16 Decision Making Units and the research results are shown as follows: 1. one of the Decision Making Units' ecological efficiency is strong; the ecological efficiency of five DMUs is between 0.9 and 1; the ecological efficiency of ten DMUs is lower than 0.9; 2. This paper uses multivariable analysis, highlights excess and shortage investment, suggesting to reduce the input unit for the project with excessive input, and increase the input unit for the project with insufficient input. Finally, based on the research results, this paper expects to provide useful references for government and relevant leisure authorities regarding Community Leisure Sports investment.
