The Exploration and Thinking on the Reform of Chinese Clothing Higher Education

With the late start but quick development of fashion higher education in our country, there have been some problems emerged inevitably. In face of the requirements of the new economic era and the challenges of the international clothing market, it's necessary for us to summarize present situation and find out the causes or measures. Based on the new characteristics of the new knowledge economic era, this paper analyzed such a series of questions as way of running a school, aim of cultivating, teaching patterns, construction of teachers' team, courses setting, meanwhile it refers to some foreign successful experience and tries to make some specific proposals for reform. The author writes the paper aiming to promote maturity and perfection of our country's higher education of fashion design, to cultivate graduates with applicability and practicability, and provide personnel guarantees for the stable and sustainable development of our country's garment industry.
