Law and privacy on the Internet

This paper will approach the legal parameters that regulate Internet Communications in the United States and will include the following arguments: Senate hearings on privacy, censorship and government control of Internet Communications, the current debate regarding the exportation of encryption software and the laws that govern encryption as part of a national security measure, the United States Constitution as it applies to the Internet, encryption, and transfer of information in a international setting.
