摘要
As demand for electronic instrumentation devices used in applications which require equipment explosion protection to operate increases, it is the responsibility of companies and their design engineers to integrate protection and safety measures with minimum cost and less impact on the circuit operation. Compliance with potentially explosive standards can sometimes be difficult to meet due to non-harmonisation of standards in some countries, hence product approval may require combinations of different techniques or different levels of protection to provide the safety measures with respect to explosion risks and to meet a specific classification or category.
