RESEARCH ON RELIABILITY EVALUATION OF SMART GRID BASED ON PARTICLE RELIABILITY ALGORITHM

摘要
In this paper, the author researches on the reliability evaluation of smart grid based on particle reliability algorithm. In this study, case studies was conducted on a modified Hodeida k16 distribution system, and the real data, including detailed information on each distribution component such as the failure rate and average restoration time of its circuits, transformers and breakers, have been used. Since the original Hodeida k16 distribution system does not contain any distributed generation, the system has been modified to include two PVs and one WT. In order to evaluate the reliability of distribution networks containing PVs and WTs which are random in their output production, probabilistic techniques must be used for this task. Monte Carlo Simulation is a very useful tool for this purpose; it requires only basic information to generate the artificial history of the system components.
