摘要
The purpose of the paper is to analyze the gender-related differences and family background influences in the context of the choice of starting a business. The results of our study confirm that men have higher entrepreneurial intentions and consider that monetary rewards are very important. From the women point of view, more important is the sense of their lives. Our study shows also that family background influence entrepreneurial intentions. The article concludes with implications for entrepreneurship development. Limitations and directions for future research are also discussed. (C) 2015 The Authors. Published by Elsevier B.V.
