摘要
Technology Assessment (TA) in the Danish context is focused on public debate, social experiments and dialogue/scenario workshops. The early controversy between a part and a more holistically oriented assessment has been resolved and both the trade unions and industry have been actively enrolled on the TA-scene. The major discourse has been one of proactive technology assessment, while technology itself has been 'black boxed'. This is today changing as social experiments have provided an arena for the social shaping of information technology.
